As I think about the meaning of Veteran  on this Veteran’s Day, I am reminded of the core values of all veterans.  The US Navy and Marine Corps list Honor, Courage and Commitment.  The US Army emphasizes Loyalty, Duty, Respect and Selfless Service.  The US Air Force, my favorite, embraces Integrity, Service before Self and Excellence in all that you do.

When I think of The Wellness Institute, I find many similarities:  Integrity, Respect, Courage, and for many of the wonderful therapists that train and teach at The Wellness Institute, they put Service before Self all the while striving to be a better person and therapist today than yesterday.  These wonderful people put their heart and soul into working with our Veterans to overcome many issues such as PTSD, adjusting to being back on US soil and the challenges it brings, be it the frustrations of finding a job, adjusting to dealing with injury from illness to amputation, and all the psychological issues that they are going though.

If you are a therapist looking for a great tool to assist any of your clients, definitely look into learning Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy; it is a wonderful tool to have in your toolbox.  All your clients, Veteran or not, will definitely benefit from having experienced hypnotherapy.

Here are some recent blog posts that we wrote on some of the issues facing veterans:

To all the therapists out there assisting our Veterans and their families…….. We say “Thank You!”
