EFT FAQs

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), also known as EFT Tapping, is a holistic healing technique that combines elements of traditional Chinese medicine, neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). The primary goal of EFT is to release emotional and physical stress and help individuals overcome negative emotions and limiting beliefs.

An individual who is using EFT taps or presses on specific meridian points on their body while focusing on a specific issue, thought, or feeling. The tapping sequence is repeated several times, while the individual repeats a personalized statement that relates to the issue they want to resolve. The combination of tapping and verbalizing helps to rebalance the body's energy system, reducing emotional intensity and promoting emotional and physical well-being.

EFT can help prevent emotional burnout by reducing stress levels, releasing the emotional weight of working with clients, letting go of the day's concerns, transitioning out of a "triggered state," soothing the central nervous system, increasing resilience, and promoting a state of calm and self-care. EFT can be a valuable tool for anyone who is feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or burned out and is looking for a natural and effective way to manage their emotional well-being.

EFT can be used to address a wide range of issues, including stress, anxiety, depression, phobias, chronic pain, and trauma. Anyone who experiences these issues should consider using EFT. EFT can be used alone or in combination with other therapies, and it has been found to be particularly effective when used as a self-help tool for daily stress management.

EFT Tapping is a safe and non-invasive technique that can be easily learned and practiced by anyone.
